"How's Marvel reacting to fan disapproval of Triathlon as an Avenger? Well, in Marvel Online's "Your Man @t Marvel" feature, here's how a less than favorable comment about Triathlon was answered:

'And as for Triathlon... you don't like him, right? That's the idea, my friend! Every group needs a catalyst to add some dramatic tension and shake up the team dynamic. And for everyone who complained about the line-up before an issue featuring the team had even come out: chill and remember who's still the creative team. Kurt and George have gotten us this far, haven't they? At least give them a chance to strut their stuff.' "
